Introduction to Azure Guest accounts
Azure guest accounts are external user identities that are invited into an organization’s Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) tenant to collaborate securely. These accounts typically belong to users outside the organization—such as partners, contractors, or vendors—and are managed using Azure AD B2B (Business-to-Business) collaboration features. Once invited, guest users can access shared resources like Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, or specific applications, depending on the permissions granted. Their access is governed by the host organization’s policies, including conditional access, multi-factor authentication, and identity governance controls, ensuring secure and compliant collaboration.
How do I apply for a guest Account
You can apply for a guest account through your account manager and you will be sent a link via email to accept and enroll. At no point will Vistatec ask you for your password.
