​The Role

Workflow Engineers at Vistatec are responsible for ensuring that all client teams have access to the most effective workflows and are provided with ongoing support in managing the flow of work between stakeholders. 


  • Excellent understanding of File management and maintenance
  • Technical understanding of Translation Memories
  • Creating, maintaining and continually optimizing workflow solutions for both new and existing customers
  • Supporting internal and external teams with Workflow challenges, identifying solutions and driving continuous improvement
  • Provide training to internal and external teams
  • Support Sales in the development of solutions for potential clients;
  • Participate in the onboarding process of new client teams who require workflow solutions
  • Keeping up to date with workflow technologies within the language industry


  • Workflow hands-on experience with at least 2 of the following (Trados Studio, WorldServer , TMS , XTM ,MemoQ, Memsource etc )
  • Some experience of the following tools would be beneficial - Beyond Compare, UltraEdit, Total Commander, DOS, Word/Excel, VB Macros, Regular Expressions, Batch files
  • Will need to be able to learn quickly
  • Ability to work to very tight deadlines
  • Comfortable in a fast paced environment (there will be many different tasks to be completed daily)
  • Very good written and oral communication skills (may have to communicate with PM's, clients, translators, engineers, IS etc...)
