Strategic Account Director

The Strategic Account Director will be accountable for the strategic relationship between Vistatec and a portfolio of our key clients, responsible for overall client satisfaction (delivery and measurement), revenue targets at an individual account level, cross selling activities, driving production innovation, managing rates negotiation and driving strategic initiatives within our assigned client base. Optimisation of existing and potential revenue streams will be vital.
Attention to detail, superb program & project management skills, and an ease with presenting to clients while motivating and influencing colleagues towards a client specific goal are paramount.


  • Devise and execute a personal plan and prioritise activities towards driving client satisfaction while achieving agreed business aims, including profitability and sales targets

  •  Working closely with internal teams to add value to potential and existing clients by effectively aligning their goals with Vistatec’s world class localisation solution offering

  • Provide feedback to the business in order to optimise quality of service, business growth, and ultimate client satisfaction

  • Represent Vistatec at all times in a manner befitting the values and ethos of a respected, global professional services organisation

  • Identify, qualify, manage and close sales opportunities within managed accounts

  • Report on all relevant activity to the CCO as required

  • Lead all tender or proposal activities, engaging the appropriate resources where necessary, generating a professional and timely response to the client

  • Leads, motivates and energises internal and external team members to produce a high level of client satisfaction and a winning sales effort

  •  Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development

  • Function as a fully integrated member of the sales team at all times, including activities for the benefit of the whole team.

  • Ensure ownership and presentation of quarterly performance at QBR meetings with the client and creation of internal targets for improvement on same, for example using balanced scorecards of performance and KPIs

  • Support and leverage field marketing, product launches, product promotions and other lead or sales generating efforts as required

  • Continually monitor and measure against success criteria and become very familiar with client processes, keeping up to date with all changes

  •  Experience of maintaining multi-million Euro client portfolios.

  •  Third level qualification

  •  Consultative sales experience preferably within the localisation industry

  •  Excellent communication, networking and presentation skills

  •  Ability to create and maintain productive relationships with all stakeholders

  •  Proven and demonstrable record of achievement in a new business environment

  •  Experience in negotiating and closing sales at board level preferred

  •  Ability to manage commercial tender process and complex quotations to successful completion

  •  Competency with standard productivity tools and familiarity with CRM solutions, preferably

  •  Ability to attend meetings overseas at short notice

  •  Effective time and personal productivity management
