​Role

The Director, Solutions Architecture, works in conjunction with the Sales and Account Teams to design, define and coordinate solutions for new accounts and new solution requirements on existing accounts. Possessing in-depth localization knowledge and consultative sales skills, the Director, Solution Architecture, operates as a credible and trusted advisor to the business.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key member of the sales team in helping to ensure customer success in building scalable solutions
  • Provide pre-sales and consultancy support, to sales and operations teams, in new and existing customer accounts
  • Support collaboration between operational stake holders (Ops, Technology, SCM, SMEs) to maximise opportunities to deliver customized solutions which meet the requirements of new and prospective customers
  • Contribute to tender or proposal activities, engaging the appropriate resources where necessary, generating a professional and timely response to the customer
  • Collaborate with the New Business and Existing Account Owners  at appropriate stages of the lifecycle of a customer
    • Discuss localization and internationalization best practices with prospects and clients
    • Help to diagnose prospects business objectives and needs
    • Run discoveries for requirements of prospects and customers for localization, globalization and other language-related projects from an operational standpoint
    • Gather business objectives and technical requirements of prospects and customers for localization, globalization and other language-related projects
    • Oversee and Support New Solution Implementation until such time as it fully operational
  • Support customer acquisition and existing customer growth (in line with strategic criteria) by understanding fully their requirements and aligning these with our current and potential capabilities
  • Create solution map to address complex/strategic client and prospect business requirements, in close coordination sales and operations leaders; ability to conceive scalable, repeatable, commercial solutions
  • Support and participate in other related activities as necessary to meet the Company's goals
  • Provide feedback to the business in order to optimise quality of service, business growth, and ultimate client satisfaction
  • Represent Vistatec at all times in a manner befitting the values and ethos of a respected, global professional services organization

  • Third level qualification in relevant field
  • 10+ years of experience of relevant industry experience
  • Possesses a technical aptitude, strong leadership skills and a team orientation
  • Ability to architect, implement and communicate complex technical solutions
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication, influencing and questioning skills
  • Proven knowledge of advanced localization tools, workflows, technologies and methodologies
  • Creative intelligence and a passion for customer success
  • Strong interpersonal, client facing, networking and presentation skills
  • A good understanding of the overall localization business and the company strategy
