​Role

The role of the Chief Sales Officer (CSO) is to develop and implement a sales strategy which ensures that Vistatec continues to grow its international client base in line with overall Company strategy. They will achieve this by leading a strategic team of Sales Managers, Account Manager, Marketing and Solutions Architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for each stage of the sales cycle from new business prospecting, lead generation, quotations and proposals, price negotiations, sales closing through to new account nurturing
  • Overall responsibility for achieving separate New and Existing Business revenue targets set periodically in conjunction with the CEO
  • Continuously striving to improve the Company's position within the industry leader board through constant promotion and selling of our usp
  • Continually evaluate market research to ensure the sales strategy is fully aligned with changing market and competitive conditions
  • Initiate and Manage effective relationships with selected, developed leads on an ongoing basis
  • Responsible for reviewing new account relationships, ensuring that we are proactive in identifying the needs of our clients going forward and continuously evaluating and developing additional sales opportunities within their organizations
  • Lead, direct, manage, motivate, coach and develop a team of superior Sales Managers, Account Managers and Solutions Architects
  • Overall responsibility for the marketing and solutions architecture functions within Vistatec
  • Excellent planning of resources ensuring that the teams are fully set up to achieve organizational revenue targets; set goals and participate in performance management process for all team members
  • Responsible for ensuring the Sales Group works with the rest of the Organization to ensure that the needs of Vistatec clients are being met at all times and that gross margin targets are achieved and maintained
  • Overall responsibility for CRM database, ensuring that the team continually update it so that reporting from the database is of the highest quality
  • To be available to clients as an escalation point in addressing and resolving any issues that arise
  • Ensure efficient and effective processes are in place to support the Sales strategy and drive continuous process improvement and establish standards of excellence within the group
  • Ensure that we have an accurate system in place for regular forecasting of new projects and prospects to facilitate resource planning (internal and external) for other managers
  • Represent the Sales Group at Executive Management level and contribute to overall Company strategy
  • Evaluate suitable conferences and seminars to either attend or present at on behalf of Vistatec
  • Keeping up to date with changes and developments – both technical and business-related – within the industry through regular networking and reading of industry publications
