​The Role

The duties and responsibilities of Localisation Project Manager involve all standard aspects of interfacing with client companies, scheduling and costing projects, and also managing the overall project flow in each of the organisation's translation centres.  In order to provide the customer with a comprehensive service, VistaTEC assigns one or more dedicated Project Manager to key customers.  The Project Manager is responsible for the successful completion of a project from beginning to end.


  • Ensure that the client receives superior standards of project management and customer service at all times
  • Deliver all projects on time and within budget in accordance with client requirements
  • Prepare proposals and quotations
  • Track and control all costs throughout the entire lifecycle of a project
  • Report on status customized to clients needs
  • Provide business intelligence, quality & productivity metrics customized to clients needs
  • Run project kick-offs and post-project analysis initiatives
  • Troubleshoot and help to set standards and processes and continually make recommendations to improve process and maximize efficiencies where possible
  • Handle queries and support requests
  • Plan capacity for internal and external resources
  • Interact with language partners and in-house teams

​Desired Skills AND Expertise

  • Third level qualification in an IT or business discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years project management experience
  • Search engine optimization experience 
  • Working experience of the software localisation industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem solver with excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a deadline driven environment
  • Excellent financial awareness
  • Enthusiastic and hard working
  • Knowledge of standard CAT packages, for example Trados, SDLX, Catalyst, XTM
  • Working knowledge of Globalization Management systems (GMS)
