June 19, 2017

Vistatec will be participating in the LocWorld34 conference which will take place in Barcelona on June 14–16 and is expected to attract over 600 global business executives from 45 countries.

Vistatec is a regular participant of LocWorld. Last year in Montreal Vistatec hosted the session Outside the Comfort Zone: The Role of Localization in Social Media Marketing. LocWorld34 Barcelona will be focusing on the theme of “Continuous Delivery” and Vistatec is delighted to be back.

LocWorld is the world’s leading Localization conference and it brings together professionals from the fields of international business, localization and globalization. The event was created in 2003 by Ulrich Henes (founder of The Localization Institute) and Donna Parrish (publisher of MultiLingual magazine). “We’re excited about returning to Barcelona,” says Donna Parrish. “We’ve held LocWorld here on two other occasions and Barcelona has proved to be a marvellous host city. Registrations are very strong and it promises to be an outstanding event.”

Marketing Content at the Speed of Agile

Marketing Content at the Speed of Agile — Game Changing Times for Global Brands, which echoes the growing importance of agile marketing and delves into the little-discussed subject of how it can be applied to global markets.

The session brings together perspectives from the content marketing and the localization and globalization worlds, and it will offer insights into the way in which different brands, from the start-up to the long-established, are applying agile principles to help them deliver more targeted content to global markets at the rapid pace required by today’s customers.

Attendees will hear about the differences between agile development and agile marketing, the benefits and challenges that agile methodologies bring with them, how the four organizations represented at the panel are dealing with those challenges, and the lessons they’ve learnt along the way.

Amongst the panellists are:

  • Yuka Nakasone, Globalization and Localization Director at Beabloo, a Barcelona-based start-up that develops omnichannel digital marketing solutions and Big Data analytics for online and offline, providing comprehensive solutions to communicate with customers through digital signage and to understand their needs by using analytics. Beabloo’s products enable companies to learn about customer behaviour, and improve the customer experience in both worlds, online and offline.
  • Julia Cames, Content Marketing Team Lead at GetYourGuide, a Berlin-based online booking platform for travel, tours and activities.
  • Lahcene Guerrouj, Global Content Marketing and Localization Manager at Salesforce, the innovative company behind the world’s #1 CRM solution with cloud-based software that’s bringing artificial intelligence to everyone.

As Lahcene Guerrouj says, “a great piece of content that doesn’t reach its target audience is just poor content.”

We at Vistatec invite everyone to come and join us on June 14th to learn how to make sure your content delivers.
