​Role

The duties and responsibilities of a Senior Project Manager involve all standard aspects of interfacing with client companies, scheduling and costing projects, and also managing the overall project flow in each of the organisation's translation centres. The Project Manager is responsible for the successful completion of a project from beginning to end.

This PM position will have direct and primary responsibility for interfacing with key client contacts and internal VT management in onboarding and maintaining new and existing clients.

This position requires a willingness to think creatively, communicate ideas clearly, professionally and be able to translate those ideas into action plans for implementation. Furthermore, the individual selected for this position is expected to have proven results for implementation of new initiatives.


​REsponsibilites

  • Ensuring that the client receives superior standards of project management and customer service at all times;
  • Delivering all projects on time and within budget in accordance with client requirements;
  • Tracking and controlling of all costs throughout the entire lifecycle of a project;
  • Preparing proposals and quotations;
  • Status reporting customized to client needs;
  • Troubleshooting and helping to set standards and processes and continually making recommendations to improve process and maximize efficiencies where possible;
  • Running project kick-offs and post-project analysis initiatives;
  • Central handling of queries and support requests;
  • Interacting with language partners and in-house teams;
  • All other tasks associated with project management.
  • Onboarding new clients
  • Establishing new processes both internally and in coordination with clients and other vendors.

​Desired skills & Knowledge

  • Masters in Translation, Business or relevant field;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Experience being primary POC for key stakeholders and/or clients
  • Minimum of 4 years project management experience within Localization or Translation;
  • Problem solver with excellent planning and organizational skills;
  • Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure in a deadline driven environment;
  • Multilingual
  • Excellent financial awareness, enthusiastic and hard working;
  • Experience developing, documenting and organizing process documents
  • Willingness to travel for training and/or client visits
  • Preferably experience working in a quality certified environment also a plus (ISO, etc.)
  • Preferably experience working remotely and in cooperation with other remote workers
  • PMP certification an advantage
  • Experience using PM tools such as MS Project an advantage
  • Experience in setting up SLAs and/or contracts an advantage
