The Role

The primary function of the Director of Sales is to leverage all means at their disposal to create new, sustainable and profitable revenue streams for Vistatec.

This is a senior position in a growing company. We are looking for a high achieving, exceptional, professional, driven and focused sales leader with experience of closing big ticket sales in an international business environment.

The Director of Sales will be responsible for driving the implementation of strategic initiatives to accelerate growth in sales across the United States.


Responsibilities

  • Devise and execute a personal plan and prioritize sales activities and customer or prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including profitability and sales targets
  • Develop and execute strategies for lead generation, new business, sales, and other matters related to profitable new revenue generation
  • Work closely with internal teams to add value to potential and existing clients by effectively aligning their goals with Vistatec's world class localization solution offering
  • Provide feedback to the business in order to optimize quality of service, business growth, and ultimate client satisfaction
  • Represent Vistatec at all times in a manner befitting the vales and ethos of a respected, global professional services organization
  • Identify, qualify, manage and close sales opportunities
  • Report on all relevant sales activity to the Senior VP, New Business as required
  • Lead all tender or proposal activities, engaging the appropriate resources where necessary, generating a professional and timely response to the client
  • Support and leverage field marketing, product launches, product promotions and other lead or revenue generating activities
  • Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information
  • Lead, motivate and energize internal and external team members to produce a winning sales effort
  • Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development

  • Experience in negotiating and closing sales at board level
  • Competency with standard productivity tools and familiarity with CRM solutions, preferably Salesforce.com
  • Ability to attend meetings overseas at short notice
  • Effective time and personal productivity management
